A Passion for Support

I'm Zuri Sabir, a doula, reiki healer and visual artist completely devoted to the spiritual growth of the modern being.

I have been serving women and their families as birth support for nine years. Long enough to have repeat customers and play hide and seek with babies I watched take their first breaths. It has been an honor to educate and serve women in their finest and bravest moments. To me birth is an art, one that women and their families can enjoy with enough education, preparation and laughter.

I realized in the last few years that my knack for intimate connection and ability to nurture the deepest wounds of the people I encountered needed a discipline extending beyond just birth work. My teacher Pamela Olivia Brown introduced me to and trained me diligently in the practice of Reiki, allowing me to energetically benefit all gendered identities as well as enhance my doula work.

My Mission: To balance the energetic patterns of those who seek my help, to help mobilize the innate intuition of mothers during their birth year by releasing fears surrounding the sacred transition of birth, and to accomplish this through the exchange of knowledge and beauty.
